Scouting is different for everyone, becoming a leader or a helper should be a fun and rewarding experience, Whether you help out occasionally with a specific skill you might have or get involved with the young people to develop and grow.
The scouts are both boys and girls and all have the same opportunities to do a wide range of activities challenges, adventures as well as personal development and goals, these are often skills that are not available at school r in there normal circle of friends.
Personally, I have been involved in scouting for many years giving what time I can when I can.  I am able to offer some of the technical skills that I do for a job and share these with the young adults.
this is a great way to help children and give them opportunities that they might not otherwise have.
Scouting is always looking for extra volunteers and helpers and it can be a very rewarding as well as a fun activity to do, and who knows you may get to do some new things too, I know I do
